Ed W. called us asking about a new basement. He wanted a larger TV space where his two college age kids could hang out. With a TV space downstairs it would be much easier to keep the living room upstairs clean and ready for guests! Total Basement Finishing went in and removed a lally column to give them one open room of about 400 square feet. They were very pleased with the quality of work! 

The M's were tired of their gloomy basement. The M's used their basement to store various forgotten household goods. The large space was almost completely empty and used only for laundry. The M's dreaded walking down into the musty space and longed for a clean and bright addition to their home.

Linda, a Lynnfield homeowner, wanted to finish the basement in her older two family home. Kevin and Karen felt that their walk our basement was doing their home a disservice remaining unfinished. They wanted to add a bedroom, bathroom, and TV room. Basically, the couple wanted the space for an in- law apartment. Even if they never used it as an in-law apartment, they saw the potential benefit of a guest room and the increased property value that comes with the additional living space. Tim and Michelle, recently moved to MA from down South. No, not Rhode Island, from Tennessee! They found a good home, in a great neighborhood, near their office. The only trouble with the house? It had 3 bedrooms and they wanted 4. It was important to these homeowners that their 3 kids each had their own personal space. Luckily, their Danvers home had an unfinished basement! Some homes have beautiful basements. This Marblehead home, unfortunately, did not. Our clients never went into their basement. A personal trainer in North Andover hired us to turn their unfinished basement into the perfect clean and attractive space for their clients.
