I highly recommend them. They did a great job with our basement and were very responsive to any issues that came up during the process. Even when there was a discrepancy between what was done and what I remembered being agreed to at the beginning of the project (but not in the contract) they were happy to redo it the way that I wanted and at no extra cost.

TBF was fantastic right from the start providing step by step guidance on the possibilities and expenses for my basement construction. It certainly helped in our decision process and peace of mind. Once the project started, the design work completion, arranging the town inspectors for initial surveys, electrician work and finally the heavylifting work for the floors, ceiling, panels etc was done professionally, with high quality, on time and was excellently project-managed right till the end to final inspections and sign off. We couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend TBF to anyone wishing to get your dream basement. Yes, they are slightly expensive than regular individual contractors but the range of services, quality and professionalism is totally worth it.

Clean Storage in Wayland

A family in Wayland, Massachusetts, decided to use our company to finish their basement. Previously, it was split into four sections, with one farthest from the stairs containing utilities. We finished three of these sections with our Everlast wall system, leaving the furthest corner for storage and utilities. We also added all new six-panel primed double doors and doorknobs to the space.

In the section containing the stairs to the first level, there was a door leading to the garage. This is where their children entered the house after school, so we added open railings and built benches, shelving, and seating. This resulted in an area for additional clean storage and new space for their children to hang their coats and book bags.

A Vision For a Finished Basement

Challenge: A couple living in Wayland, Massachusetts, have young children. The wife has a clear vision for her home, but no way to make it into a reality on her own. With her basement unfinished, it's the best opportunity to create a second living space.

Solution: We made an area for storage under the stairs for both the couple and their children, and made a small room to enclose their heating unit. We added white painted walls, and added three EverLast windows to encourage more light tin the space. This created the living space they wanted and gave their children space to play.
