Creating Additional Living Space in Salem
Challenge
A couple in Salem, New Hampshire, loved their home and neighborhood but wanted more space now that they were empty nesters. While they considered moving, they ultimately chose to expand and enhance their existing home instead.
Solution
We began the project by installing vinyl wall panels and linen ceiling tiles, followed by beautiful walnut elite plank flooring and recessed LED lighting. The renovation included a spacious main room and a full bathroom, separated by a convenient pocket door. We also added a fully equipped kitchenette to make the space self-sufficient. To complete the project, we installed decorative post surrounds on the lally columns, electrical baseboard heating, and a SaniDry system to ensure the new space stays warm and dry year-round.
