In a house in Fremont, we added three rooms into an unfinished basement. Each room had 2 X 2-foot linen ceiling tiles, boxing out ducts around existing pipes, and a white EverLast wall system. We added a SaniDry air system to reduce humidity in the rooms. We added electric baseboard heat, 6-panel primed doors, and white trim around the room. In the room we made into an office and the other that became a playroom, we added decorative surrounds around the existing posts. Finally, we added our ElitePlank flooring. This resulted in a clean, warm, well-lit space in the newly finished basement.

A family in Nottingham, New Hampshire, is creating a family room in their garage. They will preserve enough of the garage to have room for two cars while also finishing a heated, insulated room for their children and family to spend time in. The finished room was small, at around 300 square feet. We used our paintable wall system and six-panel doors with matte black doorknobs. We added baseboard heat, our 2X2 foot linen ceiling tiles, and ThermalDry Elite plank flooring in light pecan.

Chloe and Dan are a couple from Woburn MA who wanted to update their 31-year-old home. When it came time to update the basement, they trusted Total Basement Finishing, a Blackdog Affiliate, to achieve their basement dreams. A couple with a newly built home in Winchester wanted to finish their basement. When they bought the house, they planned to finish it because of the large amount of square footage it could add to their home.   We began their finishing project with our EverLast wall system in white and finished the ceiling with over 1,200 2X2 foot linen ceiling tiles. We added new door knobs to their existing doors, canned recessed lights, and new outlets around the perimeter. They chose our ThermalDry flooring and electric baseboard heating. To keep the space dry, we installed a SaniDry XP air filtration system. This resulted in a nearly doubling the usable space in their home.

A couple in Winchester, Massachusetts, have been looking to finish their basement for a long time. They have decided to take the plunge and are very excited about getting into the construction phase. This project will include moving the location of an existing bathroom to allow for more space to be used for the main room. For this project, we are using our vinyl wall panels around the perimeter, including composite shelving spanning one wall to increase storage space. We will also be replacing their ceiling with two different styles. The first, which will cover most of the space, is our linen ceiling tiles. For the rest of the space, we will be painting the ceiling black to preserve height. In addition to the bathroom, we are also reworking their existing washer-dryer setup so they can continue to use the bathroom for laundry. Finally, we are installing our ThermalDry Elite Plank flooring in grey across the entire basement.

A couple in Winchester, Massachusetts, were looking to have their partially finished basement completed. This left a section of approximately 650 feet to be finished into one large room and a bathroom. We began by moving the bathroom plumbing, then changed the layout to reduce the bathroom size and gain additional space in the main room. After we reworked the washer-dryer setup, there was still a suitable bathroom and a large room they could use for anything they needed.
