Michael's basement was filled with clutter. He was using the square footage to store old children's toys, gaming systems, and various paperwork. He wanted to get organized, but also to find a good space for all the toys and games his kids accumulated. After considering his options, he decided that it might be easier and more cost effective to finish his basement than to move. A homeowner was looking to convert her basement into a home daycare. This would include the addition of a half bath and finishing about 400 square feet of total space. She also wants to convert her bulkhead to a walkout exit. This homeowner saw our vinyl wall system, and although she understood the purpose, she didn't like the look. However, when she found out about our paintable options, she decided to meet with us in person to see what we could do.

Katie and Fred S. came to Total Basement Finishing because they had seen some of our stellar online reviews, which piqued their curiosity. Not all remodels have to be fancy or expansive, sometimes you just want a slight change. A perfect example is this project from Melrose, MA. The client in question, simply did not enjoy the aesthetic of a concrete basement. The client still wanted to use the space for storage and utility, so Total Basement Finishing added in several partition walls around the mechanical and laundry area, installed LED lighting, and finished the whole thing with ceramic tiling. A young family just moved into a home in Groveland, Massachusetts, with a basement that needs some TLC. They are looking to use the finished basement as a family room and a play area for their young son. They need a nice space for him to work on his fine motor skills and core strength. In addition to having their basement finished, they also want to have their garage doors removed. Ultimately, despite liking the pictures of our work and products they saw online, because of the size of their job, they have decided to move forward with a small contractor.

A woman living in Groveland, Massachusetts, found us through an ad online. After looking through our website, she reached out to us about finishing her basement. Half of the space was finished previously, and she is looking to have the other half turned into a guest room and space for arts and crafts.
